Finally, after just a few years, scientists are speaking out in rather large numbers to denounce the claims made by Al Gore in his political, and completely ridiculous piece of fiction. An Inconvenient Truth is being challenged by over 400 of the very scientists that wrote the report for the United Nations.
I, as well as many other Americans have known the entire time that the claims he made in that film were either incorrect or highly exaggerated.
I’m very excited that these scientists are banding together to clear their names and put a stop to the lies used to advance a political career.

Success – Fall 2007
I finally received confirmation that I got an A in all three classes this semester. So I’m starting the degree off with a 4.0.
I know that the classes will only get harder as I continue to strive toward this goal, but I will do everything I can to stay focused on the prize at the end.
This does add some relief to some of my doubts, though. I was worried that I had forgotten something important throughout the semester, and through some unfortunate fluke, been disqualified for the semester. At least, that’s what I dreamed. Maybe those stupid nightmares will stop now.
So, here’s a little something that I think took some real talent, and gives my mind a quick break.
.
Merry Christmas!
The Law is the Law
The following is an email I received today. It represents the true feelings of many Christians I know, and probably many Christians I haven’t heard from on the issue. Please read it, and if you feel the same, pass it along to as many people as you can.
So if the US government determines that it is against the law for the words ‘under God‘ to be on our money, then, so be it.
And if that same government decides that the ‘Ten Commandments‘ are not to be used in or on a government installation, then, so be it.
I say, ‘so be it,’ because I would like to be a law abiding US citizen
I say, ‘so be it,’ because I would like to think that smarter people than I are in positions to make good decisions.
I would like to think that those people have the American public’s best interests at heart. BUT, YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE I’D LIKE?
Since we can’t pray to God, can’t Trust in God and cannot post His Commandments in Government buildings, I don’t believe the Government and its employees should participate in the Easter and Christmas celebrations which honor the God that our government is eliminating from many facets of American life.
I’d like my mail delivered on Christmas, Good Friday , Thanksgiving & Easter.
After all, it’s just another day.
I’d like the US Supreme Court to be in session on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter as well as Sundays. After all, it’s just another day.
I’d like the Senate and the House of Representatives to not have to worry about getting home for the ‘Christmas Break’. After all it’s just another day.
I’m thinking that a lot of my taxpayer dollars could be saved, if all government offices & services would work on Christmas, Good Friday & Easter. It shouldn’t cost any overtime since those would be just like any other day of the week to a government that is trying to be ‘politically correct.’
In fact….
I think that our government should work on Sundays (initially set aside for worshipping God…) because, after all, our government says that it should be just another day….
What do you think????
If this idea gets to enough people, maybe our elected officials will stop giving in to the ‘minority opinions‘ and begin, once again, to represent the ‘majority‘ of ALL of the American people.
SO BE IT………..
Please Dear Lord,
Give us the help needed to keep you in our country!
‘Amen‘ and ‘Amen ‘
Merry Christmas!
Journeyman Petition
Journeyman is apparently still up in the air. NBC aired episode 11 tonight, and they are planning to air episodes 12 & 13 next week. Those are the last two episodes filmed to date.
NBC has asked for three more scripts, but they have not signed for any more episodes.
Please sign This Petition to keep Journeyman on the air.
If you haven’t seen it, please view the episodes on their website. They only have the last 4-6 episodes posted, but it’s fairly easy to catch up. It’s a great story so far. I hope you enjoy it. If you really want to see the first few episodes, I’ve still got them saved on my DVR so maybe we can work it out so you can see them. Let me know if you’d like to.
Christmas Cantata
We’re having a Christmas Cantata this Sunday morning at Church. We’ve been practicing for several weeks and have one more practice before we sing it publicly.
We sang one of the songs during yesterday’s service and it was well received.
If you’d like to come and don’t know how to get there, let me know, and I’ll forward the information to you. I attend First Baptist Church of Stowell, TX, and the service begins at 11am.
Our Nation’s Sovereignty is Under Attack
I have just signed a national petition opposing the U.N. “Law of the Sea” treaty that if ratified by the Senate would threaten our nation’s sovereignty. Additionally, it places the United States under an international authority, subjects our nation to direct taxation by the United Nations and could hamper our military.
A vote to ratify the treaty is expected before the end of the month.
This is a crucial issue that truly needs your immediate attention. Please click below for more information:

Stop the formation of the North American Union
Momentum is building in our government to create the “framework” for a North American Union that would undermine our nation’s sovereignty and open our borders.
I just signed an important citizen petition opposing these latest efforts.

Secure Our Borders!
The Senate just defeated a bill to give amnesty to millions and millions of illegal immigrants. Such a bill would have cost taxpayers over $2 trillion and brought a flood of millions of immigrants to our nation.
Today we need to move forward and demand that Congress follow-up on their promise from last year to build a fence and secure our borders!
I just signed a petition to demand that Congress take action to secure our borders and build the fence. Nearly 750,000 Americans have signed this petition. Join us!

Fall Semester 2007 is Complete
Not only that, but I’m fairly positive that it has ended with a 4.0 for the semester. I’m glad it’s over and I have 5 1/2 weeks off. I was getting exhausted with the heavier schedule. Now I have a busier schedule to look forward to starting in mid-January. Luckily, an instructor for this semester will be teaching one of my classes next semester, so that should make things move a little more smoothly.
I almost don’t know exactly how to spend my time, now. I have this feeling like I have something due, but I have no assignments to work on. It’s kinda nice.
I have succeeded in my goal for a perfect score this semester (as far as I know). My goal next semester is to perform just as well. I need to keep one step ahead in each class next semester, and I’ll do everything I can to remember my goal at the beginning and throughout next semester.
I still have much more to complete before I reach my degree, but it feels good to have a little bit already completed.
